In a personal way, Pekka Nisu’s music combines country-influenced rock and stories set in the fields and small towns of the Finnish countryside. 

The new album Lauhanmaa is a touching and bright description of the current state of the countryside. In the stories on the album, private experience becomes common.

Pekka Nisu is known as the singer-guitarist of the band Pimeys, which ended in 2020, and the author of the band’s numerous classics. The new album Lauhanmaa (2024) is Nisu’s third solo album and a continuation of the albums Papillon (2021) and Kaiken täytyy mennä (2022).
