Rébecca Chaillon, a dyke from the city, and Sandra Calderan, a country lesbian, are a couple on- and off-stage. La Gouineraie, their joyous and intimate performance, is both an examination of what it means to ‘form a family’, as well as an invitation to their home-in-the-making. Surrounded by building materials and wrestling with objects from their daily life, they create a generous scenic mess that reflects their life. Playfully deconstructing the myth of the catholic, white, heterosexual family model, they pose each other questions about inherited family, invented family and chosen family, while exploring each their own position in their new family and home. As in a television series that spans several seasons, their reflections can go in different directions at any time.

The performance is part of Moving in November festival 6.-16.11.2025. As part of the festival, there will be an open discussion with Chaillon and Calderan and local host called Soup Talk on the 13th of November at noon in Caisa.
