Red Bull Heavy Metal will transform Helsinki’s Senate Square and the steps of Helsinki Cathedral into a street snowboarding arena!
This globally renowned and legendary event will be held for the first time ever outside North America.
Throughout the day, top Finnish and international riders will go head-to-head in a street snowboarding competition featuring rails, drops, and other creative features.
Red Bull Heavy Metal captures the very essence of street riding: courage, creativity, technical skill, and an energetic urban atmosphere.
This is a unique opportunity to see snowboarding in the very heart of Helsinki—where it’s normally never seen.
Red Bull Heavy Metal is not just a competition, but a full-day event that brings people together to enjoy the winter vibe. The event is easy to attend whether you’re already familiar with the sport or completely new to it.
The day’s energy will be hosted by Eero Ettala and HP Parviainen.
The day will wrap up with afterski afterparty at Mummotunneli.
