Luomuoduo’s EP release in Cafe Saurahuone!

Luomuduo (Olli Sippola – violin and Sakari Keipi – guitar) are the loudest prophets of Nordic instrumental post-folk. The duo’s roots run deep in Finnish folk tradition. In 2022, they won first place in the national Konsta Jylhä competition for their interpretations of melodies by the legendary fiddler Hassun-Pekko. Alongside their strong respect for tradition, Luomuduo embraces a healthy disregard for genre and stylistic boundaries, with a tendency to play whatever they please — always within the limits of good taste, of course.

 Luomuduo is releasing their new EP ‘Hassun Pekon polulla” and will celebrate it in Saurahuone on 24 February.
