Savoy Theatre’s new Sound Tracker concert series kicks off with flamenco star Diego Amador’s visit to Finland! Originally known as a flamenco guitarist from Seville, Amador discovered a new world in jazz and piano and developed his original style by combining jazz elements with flamenco technique.

Amador is known as a bold innovator of flamenco, which has brought him opportunities to collaborate with world-class artists such as Diego El Cigala, Tomatito, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny and Marc Anthony.

“There is no better place than Savoy for Amador’s first gig in Finland, this is a match made in heaven,” says Sami Yaffa, who is responsible for coordinating the concert series.

Amador, who was also nominated for a Latin Grammy, performs in Savoy with his trio. Come and experience the power of flamenco in a new way!

“The essence of the concert series is in a way the same as in TV’s Sound Tracker programs. Hopefully, the concert will surprise the listener, open the musical door directly to Nirvana and give the listener a memorable experience,” Sami Yaffa describes.

The second concert of the spring 2025 Sound Tracker series will be announced in early 2025.
