The city rhythms invite the audiences to dance one last time in spring

The Tanssien Tähtiin Show has established itself in the Finnish theatre scene and in the hearts of the audience. More than 32,000 viewers have seen these wonderful dance productions so far. The premiere of the brand-new show took place on 28 February 2025 at the Peacock stage in Helsinki.

The Elevent Group Oy is a programme and event agency founded in 2014 by Helena Ahti-Hallberg to showcase the diverse possibilities of dance. The journey that started from the edge of the dance floor has taken the owners through many experiences and then back to dance.

“It’s time to go back to our roots and focus on the core competencies around which we have built everything,” says Helena Ahti-Hallberg, CEO of Elevent Group. “Our small-scale repertoire that started with dance performances just kept growing and growing and we soon realised that dance, our cornerstone, was only one part of our offering. We have been able to create great event productions and concepts that we are proud of, but now is the right time to clarify our operations,” she continues.

“The last few years have been very challenging financially for both the events and programme industries, and as the global turmoil continues, this is the best solution for us,” says Helena. “Quitting business operations is not an easy decision. However, we do not want to find ourselves in a situation where we run into financial difficulties and are unable to fulfil our obligations. That’s why this is the right time to end the story of Elevent Group and continue spreading the joy of dance through the new Elevent Dance association,” Helena states.

“To bring this wonderful show and production to a worthy conclusion, we want to bring our latest show to the Savoy Theatre’s stage one more time. The Farewell Show is just one night, after which the performance and the Tanssien Tähtiin Show will become part of history,” says Helena Ahti-Hallberg.

The talented professional dancers of the show are Claudia Ketonen, Jutta Helenius, Kastanja Rauhala, Kia Lehmuskoski, Saana Akiola, Emil Hallberg, Marius Tropercher, Mikko Matikka, Sami Helenius and Valtteri Palin. The performance is directed by Sari Siikander.

The show will take the audience into the pulse of the city, the twists and turns of working life and the madness of nightlife. “What could happen during one day, who will we meet, will we be alone at night or out partying. The show will be built around these questions. The stage will reveal the full range of emotions, as well as fantastic dancing,” the director Sari Siikander reveals.
