The retro-futuristic, 80s-inspired synthwave duo The Midnight is returning to Finland after a six-year hiatus. Formed by Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan, The Midnight draws inspiration from 80s pop culture in their production.

Their electronic synthpop sound has often been compared to the award-winning soundtrack of the movie Drive, as well as artists like Kavinsky and Futurecop!. 

Since their debut in 2012, The Midnight has released five studio albums, the latest being Heroes (2022). This album concludes a trilogy that began with Kids (2018) and continued with Monsters (2020).

The evening will be opened by Pale Blue Eyes, a British band known for blending nostalgic retro-synth sounds with modern pop.
