How to Bring Healthy Skepticism Back to Science and Civil Society?

Over the past two decades, skepticism toward science has been on the rise. Climate skepticism, anti-vaccine movements, and anti-science ideologies have fueled criticism of science and given rise to conspiracy theories.

In this event, French researcher Stéphane Van Damme will explore scientific populism and its impact on public discourse in Europe. The lecture will also reflect on whether the tradition of skepticism still has a voice in the scientific world.
