The popular Swedish-language music and comedy show is coming to Vuotalo!

This time, Tobias & The Old takes new guests on a journey of discovery into the jungle of aging and invites you to join them. Since 2017, The Old has been releasing songs that deal with topics that are relevant to everyone who has passed the peak of life and is starting to look towards the emergency exit. Memory loss, pension insurance, reading glasses and other phenomena of everyday aging are condensed into a punk-spirited package in The Old’s songs.

Tobias Persson was named Sweden’s best stand-up comedian back in 2008, and he is also an actor and writer. Together with Tobias, The Old has created a show that not only laughs at misery, but also considers all the (impossible) possibilities we have to “extend” life. Was everything better before or is it still possible that something good can take shape… and much more.

The Old is a band from Tammisaari, Finland, consisting of well-known local musicians as well as old friends and bandmates. They call their music style Insta punk and aim to release 100 songs. The songs deal with aging – not only the ailments and cramps, but also life experiences and the possibilities that are still open. So far, the band has released 77 songs.
