In February 2026, Annantalo will be the centre of a lively celebration of basic arts education as the TPO Path goes to Annantalo event brings together eleven local institutions providing basic art education in six different art disciplines under one roof.

Throughout the day, visitors can dive into the diverse world of music, theatre, dance, and literary and visual arts through workshops, performances, and other encounters.

The event offers an opportunity to explore how basic art education fosters creativity, a sense of community, and future skills. The day’s programme also includes a panel discussion featuring politicians, business representatives, and experts in arts education, who will together reflect on the significance of basic art education at different levels of society.

TPO Path goes to Annantalo is an invitation-only event that brings together representatives of arts education, decision-makers, and the business sector along with their families to discuss the future of art and to celebrate the diversity and impact of basic education in the arts. The event is part of the nationwide Creativity in Politics campaign.
