University of The Arts Student Union (TaiYo) is organizing Vapaan taiteen tila pop-up event week as part of the Kallio Summer Streets event.

Francis Maskens: Moving Chandelier
The piece involves the dancer moving through space in dialogue with shape and sound. The concept of the piece is that the dancer reflects the surroundings through dance. Duration 15 min
Takatalvi is an eerie and icy street theatre performance by Eemeli Väisänen and Inari Kolehmainen, staged in Kallio’s parks as part of the Kallio Summer Streets 2025 project. The performance is developed through a process-based approach, drawing inspiration from Tove Jansson’s book Moominland Midwinter and Hayao Miyazaki’s film Spirited Away.
