Cultural Centre Stoa welcomes the recently arrived international residents to Helsinki!

In this event new residents will get to know the services, hobbies and other leisure time activities available to them in their neighborhoods.

In addition to providing useful information, the Welcome Day program includes fun, inspiring and communal activities for people of all ages. The program culminates in a warm-hearted concert by Ombre Zion & The Riddiments.

We speak English at Welcome Day. Additionally, interpreters will be present at the event. The event is free to attend, but sign-ups are required. Advance registration will commence in August.

Traditional Finnish “pulla” (pastries) and coffee will also be served.

Ombre Zion & The Riddiments

Ombre Zion & The Riddiments will immerse you in a reggae new roots, afrobeats, Afro fusion, pop, soul, and rock atmosphere, without forgetting a touch of traditional African music. A well-crafted fusion that transports you through beautiful melodies.

Songs in English, French, and Wolof (his native language) will be performed. All in a welcoming family atmosphere.
