From August 8th to 9th, Helsinki’s most beloved tourist hotspots are being reimagined through a dog’s eyes. Whether you live here or are just visiting, you and your furry companion are invited on the happiest walk of the year: the Doggy Route to Happiness.

This route is tailor-made transforming iconic locations into a joyful journey tailored for tails. Expect sniff-worthy stops, interactive moments, and photo-ready backdrops all centred on what makes dogs truly happy.

On Saturday, June 9th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, make your way to Sibelius Park, where a professional photographer will be waiting to capture your pup in their happiest moment. Whether they’re mid-wag or mid-jump, this is their time to shine! P.S. Photos will be shared online – so your dog might just become the next local star!

World Dog Show 2025 in Helsinki

Finnish Kennel Club will organise World Dog Show, the biggest international dog show of the year, at Messukeskus next August.

World Dog Show is the World Canine Organisation FCI’s annual prestige show, held each year in different countries around the world. Year 2025 is now the third time FCI World Dog Show is held in Finland.  

The total number of exhibitors and visitors at the three-day show (8.-10.8.) and 65 breed specialty shows aka Circuit Shows (7.8.) held before World Dog Show adds up to several tens of thousands of participants.

At World Dog Show, you can see dogs of more than 320 breeds from around the world! The event is also accompanied by lots of programme for the whole family.
