Media artist Liisa Vääriskoski's Munalissu is a feminist alter ego and art project that blurs the line between reality and fiction. The main platform used for the project is Instagram.

The impulsive character takes control of her space, unashamed. Entertainment, commercialism, and political themes are often intertwined in an absurd or humorous manner.

With Munalissu, Vääriskoski criticizes the demand made by social media to be always available, always gorgeous and always interesting. In her work, she allows herself to be observed, but at the same time she remains the active operator.

As a woman, she reserves the right to make decisions about her own body. Portraying female vitality is part of her character: You should be allowed to embrace your sexual energy without the sense of shame that has been imposed by history.

Vääriskoski uses her own body as a tool and also draws inspiration from her own feelings, values, dreams, and experiences.
