Luova ja iätön (S) – Tanssielokuvanäytös

Creative and ageless. A dance film performance. This joint show by dance groups Myrskyryhmä and Sivuun Ensemble features five Finnish short dance films that put the focus on aging people.

Käy rinnallain, ‘Stay by me’, is a story of a friendship lasting a life time, the frenzy of living, and loneliness. The film was written with 94-year-old Alina, using a participatory approach.

Kylmäketju, ’Cold chain’, is a dance film about cross-generational silence. 

The film trilogy Usko, Toivo, Rakkaus – Faith, Hope, Love – was created through Myrskyryhmä’s Dancing Hands project together with the residents of Myllypuro Senior Centre during shared dance sessions and discussions.
