Marko Haavisto

Marko Haavisto rose to public awareness in 2002 after he and his band, Poutahaukat, appeared as a Salvation Army band in Aki Kaurismäki’s film Man Without a Past.

They played their first hit song, Paha vaanii, in the film. Since then, Marko Haavisto has successfully continued playing root music and released more than 20 albums.
