Carneiro da Cunha: Altamira 2042 – Baltic Circle at Caisa

Carneiro da Cunha’s performative installation focuses on the Belo Monte dam in Brazil and its impact on the nature and native people along the riverside.

The work creates a massive polyphony of people, creatures, sounds, languages and machines that opens both the eyes and hearts of the viewers to the impacts industrial land use attempts to cover.
