history of her family’s and her own mental health problems. The personal events are marked by great twists and turns of history from the recession of the 1920s to the Soviet occupation of Latvia and the collapse of the Soviet Union. At the heart of the story is the bold and pro-active approach of breaking taboos related to mental health problems.
