Aatu Raitala and Jamie MacDonald have hosted Cafe Mascot's legendary English language stand-up club for nearly a decade, and now they're taking over Espan lava with a bunch of friends.
Aatu is also the host of Takakeno stand-up club, appears very relaxed and witty on Finnish TV, and is everyone's dad with a Lappeenranta accent. Jamie's a Canadian import who co-hosts theatre's current obsession Punch Up! -Resistance and Glitter, and takes queerness wherever he goes.
Every show has a fresh lineup, with some of Helsinki's best comics headlining. Most shows are in English with a few in Finnish.

Fathi Ahmed:
Think you had a rough childhood? Try being Somali, Finnish, AND a teenager in Järvenpää growing up in a devout Muslim family. Luckily, he turned out... well, never mind.
Fathi was crowned "Vuoden stand up -tulokas" by the gods of reality TV in 2014. Recently seen on Lauma as well as The Fathi Ahmed Talk Show.
Fathi is a hilarious comic who gets his inspiration from the well of weirdness. You can try to be as cool as he is, but it'll never happen, so just watch him and enjoy.
