Cultural Centre Caisa celebrates its 25th anniversary by donating art to Helsinki residents.

Cultural Centre Caisa celebrates its 25th anniversary by donating art to Helsinki residents.

The gift package includes art workshops for children, teens, and adults of all ages; samba and a concert with modern Sami music; previews of community dance sculpture Bacteria by artist group Compañía Kaari & Roni Martin; and online performances. The art gifts will be shared with the public in August–November 2021.

Tim Etchells: The Show
The Show, a large scale installation by British artists Tim Etchells, can be seen from close and far at Tokoinranta, on the roof of Kafé Koma.

Graffiti workshop for children on Caisa’s courtyard
Come and paint a graffiti with Caisa theme with the help of an expert’s guidance. The works will be exhibited for a month on the fence between Haapaniemi football field and Hämeentie. Registration: [email protected].

Caisa’s lantern workshops – Light up your autumn!
In this environmental community art piece, we will create a chain of lights made of lanterns made by city residents and artists. The lanterns created at this workshop will be exhibited in Caisa’s courtyard, shop windows and the trees along Hämeentie. Registration: [email protected].
