History, sediments, layer and floors. Come and join in the building process!

In the spring Annantalo’s gallery is going to be filled with a community art work: an expanding city that will be filled with one apartment at a time.

What does home look like? Who lives in it? Or is it filled entirely with something else than people? In the workshop you get to make one of the rooms in a block of flats.

The rooms made in the workshop will become a part of the artwork in the exhibition. The works are displayed in the downstairs gallery until the 2 April 2022.

Tehdään taidejuttuja (Making art stuff) inspires and guides 6 to 10-year-old children living in Helsinki and their adults to make and experience art together. The workshops will also give ideas on how to incorporate art into everyday life at home. You can take part in teaching when you wish: during all the classes or just some of them.
