In the film Super Dog Crypto and Superman are inseparable best friends who share the same superpowers as they fight crime side-by-side in Metropolis.

When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypton needs to convince a mixed group of kennel dwellers – Ace the dog, PB the potbellied mini-pig, Merton the tortoise and Chip the squirrel – to control their newly discovered powers and help him with a rescue operation.
