Guided tour to My Childhood exhibition
A guided tour for school groups in Finnish, English or Russian
The tour dives into the background of the artworks within the exhibition.
My Childhood is a multidisciplinary and multicultural exhibition for children, young people and families. It gathers stories of childhood created by transcultural artists living and working in Finland. Within the exhibition childhood relates to culture, identity and diversity. The meaningful and experiential stories find varied and experimental forms within the selected artworks – in the exhibition you may find a work that maps family ties with hair and a collection of lullabies in nearly forty different languages.
My Childhood features the works of Alejandro Olarte, Arlene Tucker, Irina Kreer-Boulay, Josef Ka, Outi Korhonen, Rosamária Bolom and Zahrah Ehsan.
The exhibition is a collaboration between Catalysti Association of Transcultural Artists ry and Annantalo Arts Centre.
The tours are held in Finnish, English and Russian.
