Ilona Jäntti: E minor (Helsinki premiere April 8th)

The music for Ilona Jäntti aerial acrobatics solo is a cello sonata by the Croatian composerr Dora Pejacevic (1885-1923).

Eleonora Dall’Asta: Matmo (Finland premiere April 8th)

Panamanian circus artist Eleonora Dall’Asta works with counterweights and found items. In the piece Matmo, she uses her on body weight as well as a variety of bars and pipes. The title of the performance is a compound of the words ‘materialism’ and ‘monster.’

Ilona Jäntti: Gangewifre 

Gangewifre is a performance project that changes its shape according to the venue. It is like a living weave of criss-crossing ropes that create an illusion of weightlessness. The name of the piece is the Old English word for spider.
