Kauan kukkineet omenapuut – Martti Joenpolvi – Kari Paukkunen

This year, Finnish novelist Martti Joenpolvi and actress Seela Sella are both celebrating their 85th birthday.

To commemorate the occasion, Kulttuurikone is producing a performance based on Joenpolvi’s novella, telling the story of a free spirit named Klaara who lives in a nursing home. The music of the performance was composed by Anne-Mari Kivimäki, who is known from the band Suistamon Sähkö, among others.
