La Bohème virtually
The winter in Paris is cold. Art and love keep the young artists warm, while Puccini’s music warms the hearts of the audience.

It’s soon Christmas and the delicate Mimì steps into poet Rodolfo’s life. Their love is overshadowed by illness, and when spring arrives with its comforting rays, Mimì is becoming increasingly frail. The fleeting moments of joy have passed, and soon Mimì’s hands will be forever cold.
The sincerity of the young protagonists’ feelings and Puccini’s heartrending music have made La Bohème a firm favourite in every opera house. Katariina Lahti’s realistic, compelling direction takes the audience on an emotional journey into the bohemian Paris of yesteryear.
