The concept of being too much is used as a weapon to maintain the narrow structures of the gender binary: comments related to your life, yourself or appearance should not be taken too seriously, you should not make a big deal of being queer, you should not look too gay — there’s always something.

The piece, co-created by Sound Designer and Musician Satu Kankkonen, Dancer Jan Loukas and Light and Sound Designer Ellen Virman, creates an unapologetic queer stage where the performer’s physicality transforms throughout the piece, creating various fictitious creatures and realities.

The piece contains nudity, sexual references, theatre smoke as well as strong lights and sounds. You do not need to know any specific language to watch the show.
