In their programme for Klassinen Hietsu, soprano Katharina Ruckgaber and pianist Sholto Kynoch have chosen to throw themselves into the powerful canon of the German lied.

Katharina, whose home stage is in the Freiburg Opera House, enchants concert halls and opera houses across Europe with her lyrical voice. Pianist Sholto Kynoch founded the Oxford Lieder festival and is its artistic director. He is the pianist with whom Katharina prefers to present German lieder.
