Runokuvaa 5

Runokuvaa is a multidisciplinary exhibition concept by a collective theatre group Levoteatteri based in Helsinki. 

It combines visual and textual arts by pairing poets, lyricists, novelists etc with visual artists like photographers, painters, illustrators and media artists. The visual artists get a text of their liking and make an artwork inspired by that in process with the textual artists. 

The exhibition consists of six fascinating and diverse pairs of artworks and one text.

Artist pairs: Sofia Mänttäri & Mikaela Välipakka, Shanna Miruna & Emilia Sjöblom, Essi-Noora Paananen & Jussi Järvilehto, Karoliina Korhonen & Enteiden tuulet, Kiri Myllyluoma & Maaria Sainio and Jenna Rönkkö & Pietari Salmi. The textual work for the audience participation is by Mirja Leena Zgurskaya.

The exhibition is sharing the gallery space with the newest performative production of Levoteatteri: yhtä=kuin.
