The Tale of Karl-Bertil Jonsson’s Christmas Eve’ is a new adaptation of Tage Danielsson’s story known from the beloved 1975 animated TV film.

The story is set in a small Swedish village during Christmas in the 1940s. Karl-Bertil Jonsson is a young man whose future is predetermined by his father, the store manager. The young man’s role model is Robin Hood, and he dreams of being a philanthropist instead of diving into the world of business calculations.
