Space Habib
Space Habib is a kaleidoscopic blast of images, music and dance. The futuristic romance combines hard hitting dancefloor beats and hip hop to the emotionally expressive melodies of India and the Middle East.

The story involves a nomadic gypsy lady from the outer space and an earthling, who is a streetwise punk and a small time criminal. The story is set in a suburb somewhere in the Northern hemisphere in the not-too-distant future, and is full of surprising action, catchy melodies and also emotion and poetry - and a narrative of love conquering hate, and the individual realizing his potential and becoming who he is meant to be.
The colourful and multicultural ensemble consists of professional performers resident in Finland. Music is provided Kiureli Sammallahti, who is a folk musician specialized in Indian music. The soundtrack is co-produced by the synthwave artist Millennium Falck.
The main roles are played by the young actors Miriam Mekhane and Eetu Sopanen. The villain of the story – a menacing space cyborg – is present on stage as a video projection, and is played by none other than the father of Finnish rock and roll, Remu Aaltonen.
