Stoa Black Box: Yeboyah & Shrty

Experience tomorrow's music today at Stoa’s Black Box! In October two artists from Helsinki, Yeboyah and Shrty, take to the stage.

Yeboyah
Yeboyah is an artist from Helsinki, a social influencer and a pioneer of the future. She began her solo career in 2017. Yeboyah's distinctive stage presence has been on display at the artist's solo gigs and as part of the D.R.E.A.M.G.I.R.L.S.-rap show.

Yeboyah's anticipated debut album “Perhosefekti” (Butterfly Effect) continues the journey, presenting a versatile artist with a strong voice. “With the album name, I would like to point out that every little thing we do is very important.”

Yeboyah, the only artist on the Helsingin Sanomat “Follow them in 2021” list, has made sure that there is plenty to follow.

Shrty
Shrty is a rap artist from Helsinki who has been very active in bringing a European sound to the Finnish music scene. Skillfully combining melodic trap music, hip-hop and afroswing, Shrty ensures a listening experience with his flow, both in the studio and on stage.

The versatility of this goal-oriented artist is demonstrated by the fact that, in addition to rapping and singing, he has excelled as a producer. Shrty's captivating singing tone and energetic live performance guarantee a gig that will not be forgotten – the mood is guaranteed.

Music is best when it's fresh and live! Stoa’s Black Box music clubs are taken over once a month by music picked from outside the mainstream and artists stepping into the spotlight.
