The Ball Pool Blitz is a series of Tanja Nyo's abstract acrylic and oil paintings which includes a black and white ball pool installation. It is a fictional cruise of emotions where expectations and reality do not always meet. Sometimes arises as an emotional chaos where a tidal wave takes over and carries forward. Freedom and joy turns to nausea. That is why you can also find a vomit bucket in the ball pool.
The ball pool cruise is a metaphor for the cross waves of emotions and the unpredictability of life, for things that people cannot control in this time.
The real life ball pool is also very complex: on the one hand a playful and on the other a grim environmental crime.
