Vancouver Chamber Choir and Kampin Laulu Chamber Choir: Ay Li Lu

Canadian professional ensemble Vancouver Chamber Choir is visiting Finland and performing a concert in Helsinki together with Kampin Laulu Chamber Choir. 

The two choirs will together perform the new choir piece Ay Li Lu (somewhere in infinity) by Swedish rising star composer Jacob Mühlrad (b. 1991). The piece was co-commissioned by four choirs from four different continents. 

In addition to Ay Li Lu, Vancouver Chamber Choir will perform Canadian contemporary music and Kampin Laulu Chamber Choir will perform Finnish music in the concert.

The concert is conducted by Kari Turunen, artistic director of Vancouver Chamber Choir, and Saara Aittakumpu, artistic director of Kampin Laulu Chamber Choir.
