The winter trip is introducing the lovely outing grounds and nature of Paloheinä outdoor recreation area during the winter holiday week.
The winter trip is introducing the lovely outing grounds and nature of Paloheinä outdoor recreation area during the winter holiday week.
The meeting point is at Paloheinä Hiking Lodge, from where the plan is to go around the Forest Trail (Metsäpolku) and also visit the Paloheinä Peak. Metsäpolku is 3km long trail with signs showing info about the nature of Haltiala and it's easy to follow by green pine markings.
The trip includes also short wellbeing exercises and a snack break.

Feel free to take your own snack and something warm to drink. A sitting pad is also recommendable. The state of the trail will be checked before the trip. The trip will be organized, if weather permitting.
