The weekend consists of creative movement and meditation practices and the science behind them.

The weekend consists of creative movement and meditation practices and the science behind them. 

Dr. Hanna Poikonen will share the latest brain and health research about physical and emotional wellbeing and the group will deepen their knowledge with embodied exercises. The weekend is open for everyone without background in movement and science. Teaching language is Finnish and English.

The WiseMotion Weekend will be a combination of joyful and calming movement exercises, insightful scientific discoveries and group conversations. The weekend tells how brain processes senses, movement, pain and emotions teaching meditation and movement practices to enhance mental clarity, creativity, pain management and social interaction.

The WiseMotion method is developed by Dr. Hanna Poikonen. She is a neuroscientist, dancer and movement specialist, and holds a doctoral degree in neuroscience of movement, dance and music (Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, Finland).
