Founded by the Austrian violinist and conductor Thomas Zehetmair, the Zehetmair Quartet ranks among the world’s finest chamber ensembles.

Founded by the Austrian violinist and conductor Thomas Zehetmair, the Zehetmair Quartet ranks among the world’s finest chamber ensembles. Violinist Jakub Jakowicz, violist Ruth Killius, and cellist Christian Elliot complete the group. 

The Zehetmair Quartet is a regular visitor on the significant European stages, from Concertgebouw Amsterdam to the Edinburgh and Salzburg festivals. The Helsinki audience is presented a rare opportunity to hear Jean Sibelius’s great chamber work, the Voces Intimae, and in addition, the program features Anton Webern's Six Bagatelles and Johannes Brahms' String Quartet in C minor, Op. 51.
