Zsuzsa Demeter: Images and Portraits

The exhibition Zsuzsa Demeter: Images and Portraits at Gallery U is a selection of works by painter Zsuzsa Demeter from recent years.

Zsuzsa Demeter graduated from the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts and moved to Finland in 1987. The artist's oeuvre includes watercolours and pastels as well as acrylic and oil paintings. Demeter's subjects are mainly people, cultural environment and landscapes. She is also known as a portrait painter, whose portraits include friends, colleagues, family members and neighbours, as well as contemporaries and notables.
