Helsinki Art Museum HAM
The Helsinki Art Museum, HAM, looks after an art collection that belongs to the people of Helsinki, which includes over 9,000 works of art including the statues in Helsinki. HAM draws attention to modern art and contemporary art in its exhibitions at the Tennis Palace. Some of its galleries are also dedicated to an exhibition of Tove Jansson's (1914-2001) life and works. The works of the artist are amongs the most cherished pieces in the HAM collection.
Some of the museum's exhibitions are always free to enter. Free entrance to the museum on the last Friday of every month.
At the Tennis Palace building you'll also find several cafés and restaurants, a museum shop as well as Helsinki's biggest cinema complex, Finnkino Tennispalatsi.
