Flyygelikuu: Kiryl Bartashevich

Pianist prodigy Kiryl Bartashevich will perform a concert featuring virtuosic and expressive works by composers such as Mussorgsky and Scriabin.

Kiryl Bartashevich was born on 23 April 2004 in Belarus. He started playing the piano at the age of seven, and in 2012, he was admitted to the Republican Gymnasium-College in Belarus, from which he graduated in 2022. He then began studying at Sibelius Academy under Kirill Kozlovsky and Tuija Hakkila. He performed his bachelor’s degree concert in April 2025 and is currently in his first year of his master’s degree programme.

Bartashevich performs actively as both a soloist and chamber musician, and in lied duos. He has performed in Belarus, Russia, France, Ukraine, Finland and Spain. Kiryl Bartashevich has won awards in several national and international competitions in Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Finland.
