For Those Who Sing in the Night
Jun 5 – 6, 2026
Viikintie, 00790 Helsinki
Heille, jotka laulavat öisin – For Those Who Sing in the Night is an outdoor dance performance in which the audience moves through The Viikki Arboretum guided by performers.
The performance combines contemporary dance, Balto-Finnic incantation tradition, kantele music, and song.
It is an invitation to a nocturnal celebration, where life pours into you, the senses open, and beings tremble forth radiating their aliveness.
The performance weaves together dance, music and a forest settling into dusk forming a place for incantation, prayer and breath. It is a homage to early summer and to nights when birds sing louder than combustion engines.
