Design District Market

Design District Market in the charming courtyard of Hotel Torni on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11.00 to 18.00

Discover fashion, design, jewellery, art, vintage treasures, and the best of Helsinki’s urban summer atmosphere from participating Design District members, including Arkivé Atelier, FOLD., Hotel F6, Hotel Torni, Jatuli, Laura Vartio, Munkkiniemen Taidelainaamo ja Kehys, Reetta Hiltunen, and Vintage Style Events HKI.

In addition to inspiring design, Hotel Torni’s courtyard will be serving sourdough pizzas, fresh salads, and homemade ice cream. There will also be plenty of the newly updated 2026 Design District Helsinki maps, featuring an expanded area that now extends all the way to Helsinginkatu in Kallio. Come for a day of summer shopping, snacks and a refreshing drink, or simply to enjoy a relaxed August Saturday surrounded by Finnish design.

As part of the event, the following Design District members will also participate from their own locations:

• Finlandia Hall – Admission to the Visions of Alvar Aalto major exhibition for €16 (regular price €20) on August 1, 2026, with the code Design District Market.
• Miela – A curated selection of clothing for everyday wear and special occasions, featuring up to 50 Finnish fashion brands in an inclusive range of sizes.
