The legendary Dallapé is still going strong!

The Dallapé orchestra, which celebrated its 100th anniversary and released a new album called Go Go in 2025, is a Finnish music icon that has turned countless songs by Finnish songwriters into evergreens and brought international hits of different eras to Finnish audiences.

The band has a unique history: many of the greats of Finnish orchestral entertainment, from Bruno Laakko to Georg Malmstén and from Kauko Käyhkö to Rauno Lehtinen, have been among the driving forces behind Dallapé, not to mention Olavi Virta, who was a guitarist and vocalist in the orchestra. Dallapé is the most significant entertainment orchestra in Finland and the oldest continuously active entertainment orchestra in Europe. In 2010, Juha Hostikka became the leader and vocalist of the orchestra, subsequently restoring Dallapé to its 1930s glory.

Dallapé’s trademarks include carefully crafted entertainment orchestra arrangements and swinging performances! The concert is a cross-section of the orchestra’s amazingly long journey in the field of Finnish popular music, and the evening will feature evergreen favourites such as Ikkunaprinsessa, Angelique, Muistan sua Elaine, Äänisen aallot and Jälleen soittaa Dallapé.

The 11-piece orchestra, composed of Finland’s top musicians and tuned to perfection, will take the audience on a journey through the history of Finnish music. You can look forward to a memorable evening of swinging and nostalgic music!
