Viaporin Kekri is a contemporary urban celebration inspired by old kekri traditions, created for the people of Suomenlinna, residents of the Helsinki metropolitan area, and visitors alike.
The programme includes light and darkness, music and movement, guided tours, film screenings, museum experiences, local food and drink – and much more!
Come and experience Suomenlinna in a new way and discover doors worth peeking behind. Prepare for an adventure with weather-appropriate gear and a curious mind!
Viaporin Kekri is organised in collaboration with hospitality students from Haaga-Helia, as well as local entrepreneurs, associations, and artists. The event is hosted by the Governing Body of Suomenlinna.
The Viapori Kekri programme is continuously updated on the event website throughout September and October.
