Come and learn about one of Mexico’s most iconic traditions at Shopping Centre Kluuvi.

The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) is a deeply rooted Mexican tradition declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO (2008) and included in Finland’s National Register of Living Heritage (2023).

Program:
• Inauguration of the Day of the Dead Altar
• Mexican music
• Traditional Mexican folk dance performed by Colectivo Máxico
• Pan de muerto (traditional Day of the Dead bread) for sale by Mexican entrepreneur Gilda Vargas (Cakes by Gigi)
• Catrinas and Catrines parade
