Aki Samuli, who has been wearing the golden crown of tango for nine years, conquers the Finnish people both on TV and on dance stages. The first Christmas album and concert hall tour keep the artist busy.

Singer Aki Samuli’s first Christmas concert tour will premiere at the end of November. The production goes by the name “Sydämen voimaa” (The Power of the Heart) and the whole is built around Aki’s own life story and experiences.

“After my very successful summer tour, it is absolutely wonderful to go on a concert hall tour with a great team. I’m looking forward to my first tour,” Aki says.” The Sydämen Voimaa tour is an entertaining ensemble that is a journey through time to the Christmases of my life. I want to share important moments and stories from my life.”

“How ingeniously Sari Siikander has tied the lyrics of the songs and my personal stories together is something completely new, reminiscent and wonderful in concert halls,” he continues.

“We all have our own Christmas traditions, experiences and expectations. What Aki’s Christmases include, what kind of experiences and stories and music. We used these elements to work on the whole,” Sari Siikander says about the concern content. “We are not doing a traditional Christmas concert, but rather following Aki’s journey through different Christmases to this moment,” Sari adds.

Aki Samuli was crowned tango king at Seinäjoki Tango Market in 2015. Three albums, Pauloissa Ep, Joulualbumi, the book “Oman elämänsä Kuningas”, roles in a summer theatre and the Mahdoton rakkaus musical have made him a diverse entertainer. Aki will participate in Yle’s new documentary TV series “Lomittajat” in autumn 2024, which follows Aki’ life for 3 months

In the Sydämen voimaa concert, Aki is accompanied on stage by is a four-person orchestra. Sari Siikander is responsible for the dramaturgy of the performance. The tour will last three weeks and there will be performances in a total of 14 different cities. Information about the tour will be available on the www.sydänmenvoimaa.fi website and social media.

The tickets of the postponed Sydämen voimaa – Aki Samuli’s Christmas concert (26 November 2024) are valid as such for the concert starting at 7 pm on Monday 8 December 2025. No need to change tickets.
