90 Day Finn is a program for business leaders from all over the world to explore Helsinki’s opportunities for their company and personal life. Read on to find out answers to frequently asked details and if this program is suitable for your goals.

90 Day Finn provides decision-makers in international deep tech companies with a unique, fast-tracked immersion into Helsinki’s world-renowned innovation ecosystem. Applications are open until March 31, 2025. The onsite program runs from August 18 to September 5, 2025 with the option to extend until November 5, 2025.

Is it right for me?

90 Day Finn 2025 is searching for decision-makers in international deep tech companies who are looking for expansion or investment opportunities.

This program is not suited for people currently searching for work.

Is there an application fee?

No, there is no application fee for the program.

However, participants are responsible for their own expenses including travel, visa applications, living costs, and personal expenses.

Do I need to stay in Helsinki for 90 days?

You don’t! The 90 Day Finn program is tailored to the busy schedules of the participants, which is why the program begins with a 20-day intensive immersion and continues with an optional extension, where you may stay the full 3 months. The extension allows you to deepen your new connections and and continue developing your business with the support of your local business advisor. 

What do I need to know about living in Helsinki?

Helsinki is an affordable and well-connected city. The local bus, tram, train, and metro system cover the whole city and the centre is very walkable. You can easily manage your life without a car. However, for day trips you can easily rent a car or use a car-share service.

How many times 90 Day Finn been organised?

The 90 Day Finn program was organised for the first time in 2021, and yearly since.

How many participants are there in the 90 Day Finn program?

Each year, 10–15 participants are selected to become 90 Day Finns.

What is the 90 Day Finn alumni network?

All 90 Day Finn participants become alumni and gain access to the network for free. The network is informal and casual, encouraging participants to maintain contact via messages and calls even after their stay in Helsinki. Occasionally, the network gathers in Helsinki to meet both old and new alumni.
