Helsinki Marketing is a marketing company owned by the City of Helsinki. Helsinki Marketing is responsible for Helsinki’s operative city marketing and business partnerships.
Helsinki Marketing’s scope of operations covers marketing activities related to tourism, congresses, events and business promotion, application procedures for major events and congresses, some of the city’s event productions, and tourist information services. Its target audiences include local residents and international tourists, decision-makers and experts. Helsinki Marketing works in close cooperation with the departments and units of the City of Helsinki.
The company’s former marketing name was Visit Helsinki. The name Helsinki Marketing reflects the company’s expanded scope of operations.

Helsinki Tourist Information provides free information about the city, main attractions, events, and services. The Tourist Information provides tips and advice for making the most of your holiday. At the same time you can pick up brochures and maps.

In the summer you can get information from the green-clad Helsinki Helpers who patrol the streets and points of interest, as wells the The Helsinki Biennial Pavilion on the Lyypekinlaituri pier which is open from the 12th of June to 31st of August, every day from 9.30pm to 5.30pm, and from the 1st of September to 26th of September from Wednesday to Sunday 10am-17.30pm.

The Tourist Information services at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport have ended at the end of 2020.
Helsinki Tourist Information's electronic service channels are open daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
Arrival and accessibility
Helsinki Tourist Information is well connected by public transport, as it is located in Helsinki Central railway station. The nearest stations for bus, tram or metro are Rautatientori and Elielinaukio. For more information on public transport connections visit HSL website. There are also five city bike stations in the immediate proximity of the main railway station: Töölönlahdenkatu, Kiasma, Rautatientori/länsi, Kaisaniemenpuisto and Rautatientori/itä.
