General accessibility issues
- The website banner, for example, contains elements with incomplete accessible names. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Alt texts for images are used inconsistently throughout the site. (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1)
- The website contains images of text. (WCAG 1.4.5)
- The site footer and event pages contain links that will open in a new tab without warning. (WCAG 2.4.4)
- Feedback form text fields and interactive elements contain accessibility issues. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- The state of links in the banner and search filters is not programmatically determinable. (WCAG 1.3.1)
- Completing a search or activating search filters may be difficult due to focus order inconsistencies. (WCAG 2.4.3)
- State of elements is conveyed with insufficient contrast. (WCAG 1.4.1)
- Radio buttons used to filter searches are missing a technical role. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Search link is technically named in English, regardless of site language. (WCAG 4.1.2)
- The site contains animations, which cannot be stopped. (WCAG 2.2.2)
- The pause button of autoplay videos may not always be visible when navigating the site with keyboard only. (WCAG 2.4.7)
- The keyboard focus indicator of image links is barely distinguishable. (WCAG 2.4.7)
Content outside the scope of the applicable legislation
The accessibility requirements do not apply to the following content:
- training material used on a temporary basis for limited groups
- material put out by users or other external parties that is not produced, funded or monitored by the service provider
- material from cultural heritage collections that cannot be changed to a form that meets the accessibility requirements
- maps not intended for navigational use (for example, weather or terrain maps)
- MS Office files (for example, .doc, PDF and ODT) that were published before 23 September 2018
- online content that was archived before 23 September 2018
- live video or audio broadcasts that are not recorded for purposes of being saved or re-released
- video or audio recordings released before 23 September 2018
