Dantchev:Domain – To Those Who Have Gone, I Sing in a Key of D

The world’s only messenger of Finnish-Bulgarian groove, Dantchev:Domain, released their third studio album in the autumn of 2025. The new album will be played in its entirety, as well as selected songs from previous albums.

The new album is a collection of eight songs about gratitude for life, music and roots. The songs on the album tell of joy and sorrow – about the finiteness of life. The songs feature the Bulgarian mountains, Finnish lakes and the heartbeat of the world. 

The peculiarities of the Bulgarian singing tradition are combined with the sensitivity of jazz, and elements of African-American music blend with Bulgarian rhythms in Anna Dantchev’s dark-toned compositions. Strong melodies and the band’s strong interpretation warmly invite the listener to join them on the path of life.

The first album of the band Dantchev:Domain was chosen as the Folk Music Album of the Year 2020. The second album was reportedly the first Finnish Dolby Atmos album in 2022. The band has been gaining praise and fame in both domestic and international arenas since 2019.
